We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs Dawn Morgan as the new Principal of Abbey Grange CofE Academy.
Mrs Morgan is already well known within our school community through her highly successful work as Vice Principal. Throughout the rigorous selection process, she demonstrated exceptional insight into the Academy, a clear and compelling strategic vision for its future, and a deep commitment to ensuring that every student at Abbey Grange flourishes both academically and personally. Her strong leadership, dedication, and clear alignment with the school’s values made her an outstanding candidate.
Mrs Morgan shares, "It is an absolute privilege to be the Principal Designate for Abbey Grange. After two years as Vice Principal, I know exactly how much character and ambition lives within these walls. I can’t wait to work alongside our students, staff, and families on the next stage of the academy’s journey."
Mrs Morgan will continue to work closely with Ms Lacey-Cole (Interim Principal) and Mr Cooper (Executive Principal for Abbey Multi Academy Trust) during the transition period, before taking up her role as Principal later this year.
