The evening provided families with an opportunity to hear from our Principal, Mrs Morgan, and gain an insight into the values, opportunities and support that help our students achieve their very best. Visitors were able to meet staff from every department, take part in a range of engaging activities and experience first-hand what learning at Abbey Grange is like.
Current students were on hand throughout the evening to talk about their experiences at the academy, offering valuable insight into school life. Families also enjoyed guided tours of the academy, exploring our classrooms, dining hall and sports facilities.
We were delighted to showcase the wide range of support available for students. Visitors also learned more about our ABBEY Values and heard from our Chaplain, Mrs Fran Bailey, and Mr Swarbrooke, Achievement Director for KS3, about the caring and inclusive community that makes Abbey Grange such a welcoming place to belong.
We were thrilled to welcome so many families through our doors and would like to thank everyone who joined us for making the evening such a success.
Applications for Year 7 places for September 2027 must be submitted through your local authority by 31 October 2026. We encourage families to apply by the deadline to ensure their application is considered as part of the national admissions process. If you are applying for admission under our faith criteria, you will need to send to our school (not the local authority) a completed Supplementary Information Form (SIF). Our SIF can be found by clicking here and in our admissions policies. We need to receive this by no later than 31 October 2026. SIF Forms can be handed in to the school office or emailed to sif@abbeygrangeacademy.co.uk
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of Abbey Grange students in the future.
