Some Year 7 students had the exciting opportunity to take part in a National Literacy Trust workshop with acclaimed author, broadcaster and ex-teacher Jeffrey Boakye.
Taking inspiration from his book Musical Truth, students took part in activities that celebrated National Storytelling Week under the theme of Soundtrack Your Story. They explored how music can inspire writing and how personal playlists can spark ideas and shape the stories they want to tell.
The workshop gave students a creative space to develop their writing skills and to learn from a respected voice in contemporary literature.
