Year 8 students recently wrote letters to our MP, Alex Sobel, with their concerns about the environment, following a scheme of forensic reading that we did looking at David Attenborough's interview on 'Scourge of the oceans'.
They expressed their environmental concerns and possible solutions as to what we can be doing here in Leeds, to secure a brighter future. I'm delighted to announce that Alex Sobel replied and was very impressed with our students and their ideas- one of which is due to come into fruition in October 2025: a Deposit Return Scheme!
