Abbey Grange Sixth Form students have once again delivered an incredible set of A Level and BTEC results.
It was an absolute pleasure to spend the morning celebrating with them, watching them head off to universities and apprenticeships, having achieved the results they needed, or embarking on gap years or entering the world of work.
A staggering number of students secured places at their first-choice destinations this year, and the hard work of both students and staff has truly helped them shine.
Nearly half of all grades awarded were A*-B, but most impressively, this year’s cohort achieved one of our highest progress scores ever. This score reflects their academic journey from Year 6 SATs through to Year 11 GCSEs and now onto A Levels and BTECs. For the third consecutive year, over a fifth of our students achieved all their grades at A*-B, and the overall average grade across all students was a C.
In his first year as Director of Sixth Form, Manny Delgado said:
"I am so, so proud of these students. We’ve pushed them hard this year, but they rose to the challenge and delivered an incredible set of results. Two years of hard work have earned them places at some fantastic destinations, and it has been simply lovely celebrating with them today. We wish them well in their next steps and offer a massive congratulations on their results."
Simon Prinsep, Principal, added:
"This year group, who had so much of their secondary school experience disrupted by Covid, have worked incredibly hard over the past two years. These results show that they’ve made some of the best progress we’ve ever seen at Abbey Grange Sixth Form. This is a testament to their dedication and determination, as well as the significant efforts of our teachers, support staff, and the Sixth Form Pastoral and Leadership Team. Well done to all involved!"
Congratulations to our 2025 cohort. We are very proud of you.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you're doing in your next steps.
